The Results Are In: University Elections 2025
You have voted, we will give you the results:
Student Parliament
Involved for the first time and directly the second strongest group: the Political Initiative for Critique, Solidarity and I…? (PIKSI) has five seats in the Student Parliament. The Bamberg Green-Left Student Initiative (BAGLS) loses three seats, but remains the largest parliamentary representation with eight seats. The Juso-Hochschulgruppe (Jusos, social democrats) and the Ring Christlich-Demokratischer Studenten (RCDS, Christian democrats) secured two seats each. The Student Parliament meets for the first time on July 15 in its constituent session with a new constellation.

Senate
As last year, the Bunte Linke Liste received the most votes and provides both student representatives in the Senate. This means that Elias Leikeb (BAGLS) will remain a senator for another year and will be supported by Livia Baumüller (PIKSI). The two elected senators are part of the University Council, the Student Parliament and the Speakers’ Council.
Student Councils
The following persons were elected as student representatives in their respective Faculty Council:
- GuK Student Council: Kira Klaus & Lisa Knaak
- SOWI Student Council: Pia Scharnweber & Andreas Lang
- Huwi Student Council: Felix Schiffer & Lisa Hollinger
- WIAI Student Council: Henri Ganz & Paul Widzgowski
Voter Turnout
After last year’s high, there was a slight dip in voter turnout. This fell back to the level of previous years to 13% (Senate and Student Parliament). Voter turnout in the individual faculties also fell by a few percentage points.

We would like to thank everyone who cast their vote and wish all those elected every success for the 2025/26 legislative term!
